Shiny mane: Why your roots and ends need different care
You know that feeling? You wash your hair like a pro, shampoo it thoroughly, and yet your ends still look dry and frizzy, while your roots get greasy again the next day. Pretty unfair, right? The reason is quite simple: your roots and the lengths are like two completely different "hair worlds"—and should be cared for as such.
Approach = Freshness
Your scalp is located at the roots – and it produces sebum. This is precisely what keeps your hair healthy near the roots. Shampoo is absolutely essential here, as it removes excess oil, sweat, and styling residue. Important: Massage the shampoo only into the roots; that's enough.
Lengths = dry spells
The lengths and ends barely receive any of this protective sebum. These are older sections of hair, by comparison, and therefore automatically drier. If you vigorously shampoo them every time, you'll deprive them of even more moisture—no wonder they eventually look dull.
This is how it works better
A little trick: Only wash the roots. With DryBun, this is super easy. For most people, it's enough to wash the lengths properly only every second or third wash. This keeps them much smoother and looks healthier.
Extra love for the tips 💕
Your ends are the most delicate areas, so treat them regularly with some care: a drop of hair oil after washing, a light leave-in cream, or the occasional moisturizing mask. This will prevent split ends and keep your hair shiny for a long time.
